Just got Rocket League, Horizon 3, Forza 6 and Dirt Rally after being away from gaming for a few years. Wow things have improved.
Things I don’t understand:
In Forza, all the detailed specs are gone! No detailed descriptions of cars or modifications. Everything feels very dumbed down, yet incredibly pretty. I understand the success of these games is reliant on appealing to a larger base, but don’t leave us car geeks behind!
I loved the original Horizon for what it was... but the map on FH3 is a big let down. All of the roads are shaped like the bullshit fantasy race tracks in Forza 3-6. I want to free roam realistic-ish streets. Also, the only really fun twisty road on the map is gravel. The gravel on FH3 is pretty awful if you’ve been playing Dirt Rally recently.

Considering the top 4 are legendary games that spawned entire franchises, I’d say Burnout 3 did pretty good (as it should have).

Sega Rally was one of the best arcade ports at the time, so I can’t blame them.
Plus the soundtrack rocks.
